The services under Det finnes hjelp are for people 18 years of age and older with a sexual interest in children, who have a self-identified risk, and who are seeking help to not act on their sexual interest.

The treatment programme is also open to people who have been convicted in the past, but does not accept persons who are currently under investigation for a sexual offence.

Detfinneshjelp.no is a national low-threshold service developed by the Norwegian Directorate of Health. Advice and guidance are available via the live chat facility on the website. The treatment programme is available under Southern and Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority, Western Norway Regional Health Authority and Northern Norway Regional Health Authority.
